Rooted in ancient Baltic traditions, it marks the shortest night and the peak of summer. People gather outdoors to light bonfires, sing traditional songs, and decorate themselves with flower wreaths. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to folklore, the night is filled with magic: herbs gain healing powers, and finding the mythical fern flower is said to bring luck and insight. Water also plays an important role. At sunrise, it is believed that washing your face in dew or bathing in lakes brings health and vitality.
