Training for unexpected events

Here at FTG we recently had a training session focusing on civil protection and preparedness for unexpected events. The session walked us through how to act in different emergency situations — from extreme weather caused by climate change to more serious scenarios like war or nuclear accidents.

We discussed what essentials to have ready in case of long power outages, where local shelters are located, and how to find reliable information during a crisis. It also gave us insight into how the state coordinates emergency responses and communicates with the public.

A very valuable reminder that being informed and prepared makes a big difference. We’re glad to take steps that strengthen safety for both our employees and our community.
